Middle_Path_GraphicMiddle_Path_GraphicWalking the Middle Path: ADHD in Midlife (age 35+) A supportive skills group for marginalized genders navigating ADHD in Midlife. Combining psychoeducation, narrative interventions, and elements of DBT and Radically Open DBT.

Erin Mahone, LPC, will host another in her series of popular therapy groups for late-diagnosed adults of marginalized genders, with ADHD, that combines psychoeducation, narrative interventions, DBT, and RO-DBT frameworks. This supportive skills group, “Walking the Middle Path: ADHD and Midlife,” is designed for individuals navigating ADHD in midlife, with a focus on life transitions, physical changes, relationship dynamics, emotional regulation, identity, self-esteem, and wellness as they age.

Psychoeducational, skills-based, relational, and trauma-informed, this group is for marginalized genders between the ages of 35 – 60 (approximately), with ADHD who are experiencing challenges related to emotional regulation, perimenopause/menopause and other hormone-related challenges, changing relationships, and life roles (parenting, caregiving, career shifts).

Please note: Groups can be an invaluable tool for healing and skill building. However, they are most effective when part of a comprehensive therapeutic treatment plan. We require group participants to be engaged in therapy beyond this group. If you need support finding an individual therapist, complete our New Client Inquiry form, and a member of our team will be in touch to either connect you with a therapist at Pulse or to support you in finding referrals for therapists in the area.
