She/her

Do you feel that therapeutic support would help your child grow and flourish?
Childhood is often portrayed as some of the happiest and most care-free times of our lives, but in reality: being a kid is complicated. Our dominant culture does not promote authentic self-exploration, but together we can create an environment where your child can both get in touch with and express their most complicated feelings.
My goal is to support your child through whatever hurdles they may be facing: be it making friends, identity formation, emotional regulation skills, anxiety, or depression. In session, we will lead with kindness, foster self-compassion, and most likely participate in play therapy or other creative activities.
Are you a young adult or teen coping with overwhelming life changes?
Do you feel exhausted by your relationship with yourself and/or others? Are you struggling with existential dread caused by the unstable world around us? Well, together we can build a safe space to explore these thoughts and feelings, whatever that may look like for us. Each person is seeking a different outcome in regards to therapy and there is no right or wrong answer. If you guide the way, together we will walk the road to self-compassion and deeper understanding of yourself. We can find ways to access your external and internal resources to help you tackle life’s challenges and understand your most complex feelings.
In my approach, it is critical we explore ourselves fully while also understanding how our interactions with dominant systems such as racism, capitalism, sexism, etc. influence our experiences. We must acknowledge the systems in place that work against us, specifically when discussing and exploring resiliency. Although therapy cannot change the world we live in, we can figure out healthy ways to cope and navigate this world.
I am looking to work with individuals who are seeking to grow, explore new perspectives, and celebrate joy! The foundation of my work is built on kindness, curiosity, openness and striving for consistent growth. Therapeutic relationships are sacred and built on connecting through shared interests and experiences, as well as learning new things from each other. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning that you know yourself and your needs better than anyone else, therefore you lead the way. Your culture, values, and beliefs are the foundation of the work we will do together.
