They/them

Kory is an intern in the Portland State University School of Social Work. They are a student under the supervision of Rebekah Lubeck.
While we cannot avoid painful experiences in life, we can learn to relate to difficult thoughts and emotions differently. With gentleness and curiosity, we will strike a balance between support and challenging you to grow.
Together we can gain insight into existing thought patterns that were once protective, but may no longer be serving you. Practicing new skills and somatic exercises during our time together will give you tools to integrate change on an embodied level.
My background:
My previous experience includes working with BIPOC, queer and trans people, survivors, and people experiencing suicidal thoughts. We will work to expand your comfort zone at a pace that feels accessible and safe.
For me, client-centered therapy extends beyond addressing your goals; it involves building independence and nurturing confidence in your own voice.
