Simply saying nothing is not possible. The Pulse staff wants to let you know that we are here,
we care, and we will continue to focus on the ways we serve the people who need us the
most. Pulse is a queer, immigrant, person of color-centered organization with people who work
here who are, or have been, disabled, vulnerable, neurodivergent, poor, struggling, and anxious. We are
you!
The scapegoating and fearmongering that has been happening in the US and now is culminating
in the horror many of us feared. Pulse believes that people deserve dignity, respect, and
kindness. This is in all we do for the community and ourselves. There is little to say in this
bulletin that you have not read on another site or heard from a blogger you follow. We will not
repeat the words of others here. We will repeat our values over and over. Pulse Wellness
Cooperative will live through this and stay honest, forthright, and true to the beliefs that
immigrants, LGBTQIA2+ people, those with disabilities, Muslim, Jewish, and BIPOC people feel safe,
heard, and cared for during all times – but especially now.
