How often are you holding back parts of yourself—your desire, your anger, your joy, your questions—because the world doesn’t always feel safe or spacious enough?
Have you felt overwhelmed by a world shaped by oppressive systems and the constant pressure to be “enough”?
What would it be like to wake up feeling safe, heard, worthy—connected to your body, your identity, and your relationships with more freedom, pleasure, and authenticity?
Therapy with me:
Therapy with me is collaborative and affirming, a space where your identity and lived experience are deeply honored. You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore the stories you’ve inherited, the narratives that have shaped you, and the ones that are ready to be rewritten. Therapy is grounded in attachment, attunement, consent, and collaboration.
We’ll work to reduce shame, cultivate self-compassion, and imagine new possibilities for how you relate to yourself and others. Therapy offers an opportunity to embrace authenticity and step into vulnerability with courage and community. My clients with the most successful outcomes want to grow, heal, and understand themselves more deeply; they’re open to expanding insight, self-compassion, and their window of tolerance.
My role may shift over time, playing the caregiver, champion, disruptor, or secure base as appropriate, but the work is always anchored in compassion and respect. We move at the speed of trust. Sometimes sessions feel expansive and energizing; other times, they may be tender or challenging. Either way, the work belongs to you, and the growth is real.
I work with clients who may identify as:
- LGBTQIA2S+
- Kink/sex-positive
- Survivors of domestic and sexual violence
- Clients experiencing existential anxiety, loneliness, or identity-based trauma
- Sex workers and/or people with lived experience in the sex trades
Clients can find support with:
- Gender and sexual identity exploration
- Relationship and intimacy concerns
- Trauma processing and healing
- Shame, self-criticism, and internalized oppression
- Existential angst and loneliness
- Overwhelm related to systemic injustice and cultural pressures
- Anxiety, emotional regulation, and self-worth
My approaches include:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness and somatic-based interventions
- Attachment-based interventions
- Anti-oppressive and culturally-responsive frameworks
My work is informed by feminist and queer theory, social constructionism, and existential philosophy, using a systemic lens that recognizes how power, oppression, and culture shape mental health.
Professional background
I received my Master of Social Work from Portland State University. I bring experience as a violence prevention and sex educator, grounding my clinical work in sex positivity, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed care. In addition to this training and experience, I have traveled extensively, lived abroad in multiple countries, taught English for speakers of other languages, and I speak fluent Spanish (although I do not offer therapy services in Spanish). My approach is strengths-based and rooted in a deep belief in empathy, connection, and the human capacity for growth. It is a joy and a privilege to make a living practicing empathy with other humans.
Who I am in the wild…
I’m a pleasure activist and a good-natured nihilist. If I were a day of the week, I’d be a Sunday: mostly laid-back and gentle, with an undercurrent of existential anxiety. When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking veggie meals, ecstatic dancing, attending concerts, hosting elaborate theme parties, journaling, reading, writing, or spending time in the forest or on the beach.
